988 has been designated as the new three-digit dialing code that will route callers to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (now known as the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline). Connect to trained counselors that are part of the existing Lifeline network through calling or texting.
SAMHSA’s National Helpline is a free, confidential, 24/7, 365-day-a-year treatment referral and information service (available in English and Spanish) for individuals and families facing mental and/or substance use disorders.
